Beyond bear
Bear dominates animal styling, but a studio that only shoots bear is shooting the same portfolio as every other studio in its market. This collection covers the animal themes that let a photographer offer something recognisably different while staying in the same soft, neutral register that newborn work requires.
What is in this collection
Bee and cute bees sets, duck and floral duck combinations, koala, little pony, vintage bunny, alpaca, and underwater and marine themes. Most are hand-knitted with a matching ear or hood detail and a coordinating decor layer.
Seasonal notes
Bunny lifts around Easter and bee across spring and summer. The remainder sell flat across the year, which makes them safe to stock in low depth without seasonal risk.
Custom animals
Custom designs run 20 sets minimum at 15-25 days with a sample approved before production. This is a common request from studios wanting an animal specific to their local market.
Buying FAQ
Which animal themes sell best outside of bear?
Bunny and bee are the strongest year-round sellers. Bunny lifts sharply around Easter, and bee sells steadily as a spring and summer theme. Koala and alpaca sell in lower volume but attract photographers looking for something less common.
Are these sets gender-specific?
Most are neutral. Colourway is what tends to gender a set rather than the animal itself, and most designs are available in more than one colour.
Can you produce an animal theme you don't currently stock?
Yes. Custom animal designs run 20 sets minimum at 15-25 days. Because these are hand-knitted, we produce and photograph a sample for approval before the main run.
Do the sets include a companion doll?
Some do. Where a matching knitted animal doll is available it is listed in the product variant table, and it can also be ordered separately from our creative and mini props collection.
